Who is Volunteer Network?
Volunteer Network is a Volunteer Resource Centre for the Inner West, funded by HACC (Home and Community Care), and auspiced by Burwood Council.
We provide a recruitment, interview, referral and training service for HACC funded and HACC like organisations, their volunteers and prospective volunteers who wishing to work in the type of services provided by HACC organisations in the Inner West.
The local Government Areas covered by volunteer Network are Burwood, Strathfield, Ashfield, Canada Bay and Leichhardt.
Most of the volunteer positions advertised through Volunteer Network are for positions within HACC and generally involve working with older people, people with disabilities and their carers. However there is also some work available which involves working with young children and their parents.
